I am Medical Cannabis user tho I live in Tennessee. In my state it is still illegal. Millions like me could benefit from the legalization of Medical Cannabis. Some people do not respond to the other medications, feel like they are unsafe or can bot handle the negative side effects from the modern medicine.
I do not like pills as I feel they are unsafe. I used to take antidepressants for my sleeping problems,Tourette's Syndrome and Bipolar Disorder. I took up to 4 to 5 a day at one time and I know there are many others who take more than that a day. After I started using Cannabis medicinally I stopped taking my medication. I smoke just a little bit of Cannabis a day or when needed and I am fine. I do not tic from the Tourette's Syndrome and so far there is no known medication that can do that for Tourette's. I have a video showing the effects of Cannabis on Tourette's as well as a newer video.
The Cannabis as well helped me with my Bipolar Disorder. It helps ease my depression and helps me sleep.
I have been able to do away with all my medication and just use Cannabis, how great is that? Cannabis is a much easier and cheaper medication for one to get. It can easily been grown in someones yard and with enough knowledge on cannabis know how it can become potent enough for medical needs.
Cannabis has been shown to cure Cancer, relive nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, anorexia and cachexia in HIV?AIDS,chronic, especially neuropathic pain, spasticity in multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury, and ease tics in Tourette's Syndrome and other movement disorders. With more research we could find more maladies that can be helped with Cannabis.
If Cannabis was legal for medical usage than millions of people with these and other disorders could find relief from their suffering and become better productive members of society.
Why should a person be forced to become a criminal by making backroom deals with people? I like any other medical cannabis user in Tennessee is just looking to find relief from suffering.
Why should someone have to wait hours to get the much needed medication that they can not get legally?
